Türkiye: Draft regulation on plans to extend KKDIK registration deadlines

A draft regulation issued by Türkiye’s Ministry of Urbanization and Climate Change (MoEUCC) has been submitted to NGOs on 14 Nov. 2023 regarding a deadline extension for registrations acc. to KKDIK beyond 2023. Deadlines from the draft for substances manufactured or imported are:

31 Dec 2026:

• >1.000 t/a
• >100 t/a within the Aquatic Acute 1 and Aquatic Chronic 1 Category (H400, H410) acc. to CLP
• 1 t/a within the Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, and Reprotoxic Category 1A and 1B acc. to CLP

31 Dec 2028:

• >100 t/a

31 Dec 2030:

• >1 t/a
