The Effective Date of the new MDR (EU) 2017/745 has been postponed by the European Parliament on 17 April 2020. This means the new MDR will come into force on the 26^th of May 2021.

All biocidal products must be authorised before being placed on the market and the active substances contained in the biocidal products must have been approved in advance (BPR (EU) No 528/2012).
