OECD 211 Test Principle

In the OECD 211 Daphnia magna Reproduction Test, young female Daphnia magna are exposed to a range of test concentrations under controlled laboratory conditions for 21 days.

Throughout the study, the reproductive performance of exposed animals and those in untreated controls is monitored. Based on the findings a concentration-response relationship is determined.
