Physico-chemical Properties
OECD/EU-Methodes
The OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development) develops standardized testing methods as part of the registration of chemicals. In addition, the EU has published a list of methods approved for Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
Among many other studies we offer quick and precise measurements of the melting point, boiling point and screening tests for thermal stability (e.g. explosive properties) using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
Our DSC 8500 includes a temperature range of about - 70 ˚C up to 750 ˚C (depending on the test and applicable crucibles). A substance quantity of maximal 1 g is already sufficient for the determination.
Depending on the requirements, we can perform the corresponding tests for you!
