LAUS offers all required studies that lead to the appropriate classification according to German federal water act (AwSV), April 18, 2017, the so called “Wassergefährdungsklassen” (Water Hazard Classification, WGK):

• Acute toxicity on algae, Daphnia, (fish)
• Biodegradability
• Bioaccumulation potential logPOW
• Water solubility

Did you know that for the classification of a mixture, scientific tests could replace the calculation approach, which takes into account all individual components? If test results lead to a “better” classification, this could save a lot of costs for transport, labelling, storage, ADR, and in addition enhance the image of the product.
