Determination of log Pow according to OECD 117, OECD 107, OECD 123

  • The logPOW is a key figure among the physico-chemical properties of a substance and plays an important role in the evaluation of the Bioaccumulation Potential and the Environmental Risk Assessment. Literally speaking it tells you about the ratio of a substance's concentration in an oily solvent (octanol) versus water once the mixture has reached equilibrium. Substances with a high log POW value are more likely to accumulate in fatty tissues.
At LAUS we offer the experimental determination according to
    OECD 117
  • OECD 107
  • OECD 123
Our study directors are very experienced. They understand the regulatory landscape and will select the most appropriate test method based on your substance properties and submission requirements.
